Server one is back online. Still, it will be the backup for a few days until it proves itself.

SBE President's netcast #2 is now posted at sbe.org. It was recorded during our recent trip to DC for visits to the FCC.

Don't ya hate it when...

Lost the boot disk in Server 1 last night. Avid (Pinnacle) was in there this am trying to restore it, but it's looking like a fed ex delivery is in order. Thankfully, server 2 picked up the slack and things are back to normal for now.

Washington Slept here

Been here in DC for a few days. Meeting with the FCC commissioner's staffs and some of SBE's strategic partners on topics of interest to our members. Learned a lot, and I think we did a good job of representing the Society to the Commission. We'll see where it goes.

3 weeks down.

Wow, It's been 3 weeks since I took over as president of SBE, can you believe it? I really didn't think it would be as busy as it is, there is a lot to SBE that the average member just doesn't see. John runs the day to day at the office, but it still takes a phone call every other day to take care of issues that may pop up. It's all good though. BTW, something grand on the horizon that I can't go into right now, but this is a good thing.
